Welcome to my Poetry Corner. All of these were written by yours truly. =) Some of them suck...I know that. But some of them are really good. My dad likes them alot and he says that some are really deep. Think what you want, I am proud of what I have done. Some of them rhyme and some don't. My fiancé thinks that all poems should rhyme, but I disagree. It's whatever you want it to be. Well, I hope you enjoy. E-mail me and let me know what you think.
If you'd like to see some of your own writings on the web, I will gladly add them to the Poetry Corner Library.

Other poetry not by me
Chin Up
As high as the sky
To the bottom of the sea
My life is a lie
What will I be?
I do not know
Just were I will go
Wild as a doe
How low is low?
No more tears
Red rosy cheeks
Away with my fears
Reaching higher peaks
Top
Twilight
Night after night, from dusk till dawn
Lighting the sky
In the dead of night
Catches your eye
With all its might
Bright as the sun
Glows like a flower
Oh what fun
With all its power
Watching its waves
Far as 1 can see
All of your days
Are filled with glee
Longing the kiss
Of days before
Feeling the bliss
Wanting more
Top
Solitude
Thinking alone
All by myself
Nobody home
No good for my health
Caring so much
With all my heart
Feeling the touch
Of a shooting dart
Nowhere to turn
And lots to do
Watch me burn
With feelings for you

Tranquility
Listening to the whistling of the wind past my ears
Tasting the salty air blowing on my face
With the vibrant colors gleaming in my eyes
Tranquility.
A sunset so beautiful, over a vast horizon
A skyline filled with busy lights
And pictures spread out all over the sky
Tranquility.
Swirls of colorful cotton balls and
Traces of a blue background
Overlooking a wrinkled body of water
Tranquility.
Mountains and hills rolling in green
Or perhaps a cap of fresh white snow
A sunny clearing in a dense forest
Tranquility
The roof of a building
Maybe the subway beneath
Wherever it may be
Tranquility.

The Ocean
Glistening from the rays
Of the sun so bright
A world of its own
Darker than the night
A boat sails across its surface
While creatures swim below
Its thunderous waves
Crashes against my feet
The sound it makes
When heard through a shell
The sight of it
As I have gazed
Top
Sunset
A plane far off, high in the sky
Flying through clouds
Passing a rainbow of colors
Fading into the night
Touching the land
With a gentle kiss

To Be Human
So many people in the world
There are no 2 alike
All have their lives to live
Crossed paths are never forgotten
One may not realize how special each day is
For each passing one may be the last.
So selfish, ungrateful or even deceived
People don't know how great it is to live.
Think of each days as a gift to you
No card, no letter just another chance
Always remember that we are all equal
Noone is lesser and never better

No More Being
No more being
As night approaches, the moon does not come
Dawn breaks, no sun rises
A raven soars all over the world
The universe is never ending
No appreciation for what is had
An unborn life stolen in the night
All chances ripped away
You are my sun and moon.
I am the dawn without a sun
Sitting in the dead of night waiting
For the sun to never rise again
A new star approaches unwanted.
Wanting to shed light over dawn
The star is kissed but The sun
is never forgotten or longed for.
No more breathing

Tears
Skys of pale blue are like sheets of ice
Coldest at dawn with no hope of a warm day
A single tear rolls down my cheek
Waves of emotion crashing on the surf
Soft bluebirds circling overhead
A single crow perches from a tree
This night of solitude is all that's left
Wrapped in the warmth of the darkness
A single rose wilters away.

Caged
soaring over hilltops, touching the sky
Cutting through the air, sharp as a knife
suspended in time, pulled by gravity
A glimpse of land, racing under my feet
swift ocean waves, rumbling in the distance
Gazing into space, over a vast horizon
silence is golden, or so I am told
Empty and dry, as a desert night
sketching ones life, on a dirty page
Dawn starts to break, as I close my fate.

ALL UNTITLED
[No Title] -- 1
Looking in your eyes, I see all my dreams.
Feeling your gentle touch, I am filled with rivers of emotion.
Overcome by your sweet scent, you are like a bear
With a bowl of honey.
With your soft voice, I can be swept away,
And your sexy laugh plays a solo in my ear.
Tasting you on the tip of my tongue
Is better than any candy or sweet.
Hearing my name pass through your lips, touches my heart
In the hole were love used to be.

For all the stars high in the sky
And all the sands across the land
With every light bright in the night
Gentle winds blow as rivers flow.
With all of these
I state my claim
Noone left to please
Only me to blame
Never give up hope
Don't lose your cool
Learn to cope
Your not a fool

Inanimate objects become
your friends.
Like the TV or a CD or a book or the phone.
You get to know them really well.
Your have nothing else to do.
Always waiting for a person to come by and talk to you.
But they'll just leave anyway.
They HAVE better things to do.
Your just a pit stop.
Actually a roadblock.

Rivers have flowed,
Rivers will flow.
It has no path,
No set destination.
No reason to flow.
How do you flow?
It can be still & calm
Or roaring out of control.

All I can see
Is what will be
A lonely star
From quite very far.

Tomorrow is today
And yesterday is gone away

[No Title] -- 7
Today is the day
When love will stay
Hold on tight
Don't want to fight
Tomorrow is here
No need to fear
Everything's okay
No more to pay
Yesterday is past
Just know it'll last
Don't give up hope
No time to mope

Swiftly moving through the air
Gliding across several miles
Changing shape and size
Reflecting the rays of the sun
Turning black overnight
Filling with so much anger
Striking down and letting loose
Crying the pain away

As the sun declines
The rays still shine
The colors are bright
Oh what a sight
It's like a balance beam
As the moon starts to gleam
The stars still glow
And rivers flow
In the dead of night
I can see the light
A baby cries
It still flies
I hear you calling
I think I'm falling
Reaching out my hand
I finally land.

I see the moon among the stars
I see the lights upon the cars
I see a bird among the flock
I see a child and a building block
I hear sirens over the t. v.
I hear the sting of a great big bee
I hear the moans from dusk to dawn
I hear the sound of a new mowed lawn
I see you, I see me
I hear the way we could be.

You are never forgotten
She can always feel you near
You don't want her
She longs for you
Wandering through the night
Searching for what is not known
Waiting and watching the clock is tocking
Words are spoken like arrows shot from a bow
Hitting your chest, ripping through your skin
Entering your heart and never leaving

SILLY ONES:
Days
Days like these
Are hard to please
All let down
There is no crown
Feel like crying
You think your dying
Nothing good
There is no food
Lifes mistakes
You know the stakes
The final step
No more pep.
Left alone
Moan & groan
Hard to see
Don't want to be
Living this way
Just go away
Top
Gone
All the lights
Seem so bright
Hurts my head
I know I'm dead
Nothing left
No more depth
Life is grand
Like grains of sand
Everything right
No need to fight
That's not correct
Nobody's perfect
It's the end
No more to tend

Senses
So hard 2 breathe
A baby teethes
I cannot see
A bumble bee
Nothing 2 hear
Something 2 fear
To touch or feel
A banana peel
How to taste
Go eat some paste
